HISTORY
Carol-Lynn Rossel Waugh designed
Gregory, named after her brother for the New York
company Effanbee in 1989.
The company was later bought by Russ Berrie,
which first introduced Gregory in 1991 along with
Eureka, designed by US bear artist Linda Spiegel Lohre.
The original Gregory was 14in high and jointed.
The manufacturer later developed this smaller,
unjointed design.
