Antique teddy bear from the 1930s
Made by Richard Diem
from Sonneberg /Thüringen in Germany
He is made of long piled gray mohair
He has glass eyes
A gorgeous hunchback or hump on his back
Long bending arms
He is hard stuffed with wood fibers
He is fully jointed
He has a tilt growler in his body that gives a small growl
He has flat soles to make him stand on his own
On each paw he has 3 hand stitched nails
The stuffing in his arms is not so sturdy anymore
He has some repairs done by his previous owner
He has stitches at his ears and at his left arm at the disc

to the history of the bears life
We leave this up to the buyer to decide whether to repair
the stitching or to leave it as is
He has some loss of mohair on his back
He measures approx
24 inch - 61 cm tall
